Formerly known as the 'Vipers', after playing their debut live act changed their name to "Morbid Vission". Amento (Vocal), Tovika (Guitar), Japuto (Guitar), Khekaho (Bass) and Mughato (drums) were school kids friend who grew up listening to Slayer, Judas Priest, Manowar, Blind Guardian ... After a couple of years the friends decided on a whim, to enter the "Winter Rock Fest" 1999 . They did win the competition and emerged as the winning band, the same year they entered the Shillong (Meghalaya) Open Beat Contest, Although they didn't win the contest, Japuto did walked away with award for the best Guitarist.

Being School students' and the need for higher education bass player Khekaho had to move to Bangalore, and was replaced by Mughavi (Khekaho still fits in whenever he is around). Morbid Vision released their debut album "Morbid Vision" on their own Home label recording. The music is dark, breeding and heavy, it takes you down into a dark abyss and haunts you, taunts you as you flonder helplessly. Theres no escape when Morbid Vision grabs onto the netherworld of your psyche.
